I wouldn't buy a new Volkswagen car(*), but I do love those three commercials...







I love the guy's accent. ;)

(*) I wouldn't, because I do have two autos already (The Volkswagen T3 Camper and Daewoo Lanos). :)

Bus still in pieces

The camper is still not fixed. Tomek has some trouble getting the german engine together, he can't get some parts for camshaft positioning and crankshaft / connecting rod spacers. To save the situation he's looking for any working engine that's in one piece, to put it inside the camper, without opening it up. He should do so at the beginning.

To be honest, during last 12 months I had little chance to drive my VW T3. :(

Small VW T1 model

I bought it couple weeks ago for some $10. Looks nice, but could be made better, more precisely...

If I have some money to spare, I'll try to buy another one on eBay. :)

Orange, large T3 camper

I saw this large T3 camper yesterday. High with additional roof, looks large. Very nice orange paint. Notice that the windows give a bit of extra space inside...

Cool, but probably not very fuel efficient because of large drag.

Two campers in one family

I haven't written about it till now, there was no chance to do so. I have one today. :]

My father, no longer than one month ago, bought another camper van. I remember year and a half ago my entire family (my dad included) had alergy to "I want to purchase VW T3" idea. They all thought it is too big for my needs.

When I got the camper, they all loved it. Dad said, he'd want to borrow it some day for a trip.

Six weeks ago he had an idea to buy the red VW T3 I towed from Germany from me. The idea was forgotten shortly after that.

So he bought his own, unfortunatelly not a Volkswagen, but 1989 Ford Transit. Better this that nothing, right? ;)

The beginning

This is the first post on this blog. I started it as an english version of my blog about my Volkswagen T3 Camper. Because of this I will translate all the articles posted there, starting with the oldest. I will put them on the proper date, so you could follow what happened with my VW Transporter.
